For the last three weeks, I've been taking care of my newest grandchildren. The youngest one is four and she's so stinkin' cute, I just had to make her a summer dress, but as soon as she saw this one, she wanted to model it and keep it--so she's gotten two! I've had that fabric for a long time and never could figure out what to make...turned out great for the hot summer down here in San Antonio!
That inspiration propelled me to make more dresses to sell..no patterns, just from perusing various sewing
websites. In the process, I've learned the 'right' way to make my own bias tape!
Here is the perfect one for the little girl heading to the coast for vacation!
This is a stretchy fabric and has a lot of give. The length is 19".
